Cross-Border Pet Travel & Export Checklist (EU / UK / US CDC / IATA)

• 1. ISO 11784/11785 15-Digit Microchip: Must be implanted before or on the same day as the rabies vaccination.
• 2. Valid Rabies Vaccination: Administered at ≥12 weeks of age; 21-day waiting period after primary vaccination for EU/UK entry.
• 3. Rabies Antibody Titre Test (FAVN/RFFIT ≥ 0.5 IU/ml): Required when entering from unlisted third countries or entering the US from high-risk countries.
• 4. Echinococcus multilocularis Tapeworm Treatment: Mandatory 24–120 hours prior to entering Great Britain, Ireland, Finland, Malta, or Norway.
• 5. Official Veterinary Health Certificate & Export Pedigree: EU Pet Passport, UK Animal Health Certificate, US CDC Dog Import Form, and FCI Export Pedigree for registration.
