Eligible Classes at an FCI CACIB Exhibition

At FCI-sanctioned international shows, only dogs entered in the Intermediate (15–24 months), Open (15+ months), Working (15+ months with working certificate), or Champion (15+ months with confirmed national/international title) classes can compete for the CACIB. Junior (9–18 months) and Veteran (8+ years) classes compete for CACIB-Junior and CACIB-Veteran respectively.

Requirements for C.I.B. (International Beauty Champion)

For breeds without a compulsory working trial, a dog must earn four CACIBs in at least three different countries under at least three different FCI judges, with a minimum interval of one year and one day between the first and last CACIB.
